2011 – The Beginning of Tia’s Treasures
Tia’s Treasures was born on 21st May 2011, when Tia was just six years old. It all started after a bracelet-making event at Sassie Gems, a local bead and charm shop in Great Yarmouth. Inspired by the experience, Tia began creating beaded bracelets as Random Acts of Kindness for her family and friends.
With guidance from Sarah, the shop’s owner, Tia learned how to make her very first memory wire bracelet. What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into a fundraising mission, when Sarah kindly offered to sell Tia’s handmade creations in her shop.
Tia was determined to donate every penny from the sales of her “treasures” to two charities close to her heart:
CLIC Sargent (Registered Charity No. 1107328 and SC039857)
CHECT – Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (Registered Charity No. 327493)
These charities had supported Tia’s best friend, who had bravely battled Retinoblastoma since infancy and sadly lost her sight in both eyes by the age of eight.
Over the years, Tia’s Treasures has not only raised thousands of pounds for various charities but also made a meaningful impact by spreading awareness, supporting countless causes, and carrying out heartfelt acts of kindness. Along the way, the team has grown, with the help of  Tia’s Mum Lisa, Dad Richard, Brothers Alex, Adam, Jamie, Tommy, Toby and their beloved mascot Kindness Ninja Monkey.
